B.A.T.  $100 (includes pre-testing & post-testing)

(Baseball Athletic Test)

The B.A.T. measures baseball-specific skills similar to the way the traditional professional baseball tryout assesses the five tools: running, catching, throwing, batting contact, and hitting power.  The B.A.T., however, includes an objective assessment of ten athletic factors related to success in the game of baseball: body composition, flexibility, muscular strength, leg power (vertical jump and standing broad jump), rotational power, agility, running speed, and sport-specific tests (throwing velocity and batted ball velocity).  The testing cost includes a rate of $10 per each of the 10 subtests, pre-testing and post-testing administered by strength & conditioning coach, results shared electronically with the athletes, and suggestions for future training emphasis based on the results of the testing.
